Like plagiarists, slopmongers will continue to exist—and they're worse. Adjust your level of contempt accordingly.

Treat a published work that was later divulged to be AI-generated the same way you would if you found out it was manually plagiarized from a different book. Same situation, just the plagiarism has been automated and averaged out a bit, and the plagiarist is also a scab and a cultural arsonist.

Review of Hobtown #3
@hobtown.bsky.social
“Detective fiction is about getting to the bottom of things; weird fiction is about the abyss in its bottomless depths. “Hobtown Mystery Stories,” in their layered and satisfying surrealism, are about both.”

explaining a labour violation on the internet means you'll get someone showing up to say "that's illegal" and, bud, let me tell you about most of what is going on out there right now.

“Love it or hate it it’s here to stay” is a crazy thing to keep saying about a technology. If people don’t like using something it doesn’t have to stay we’re not talking about bad weather here

the bootlickers spontaneously appear whenever a CEO is criticized. previously maligned for claiming flies spawned from rotting meat, spontaneous generation theory has found new viability in the current social media landscape. corporate rot summons the bugmen who worship a shitcoin.
