In 1990, Ohio (on the left) had about 4.4 million more residents than Georgia (on the right) had. Now it only has about 600,000 more residents. Ohioās stagnated and become more Republican. Georgia is dynamic and has become more Democratic.

We all know that virtually none of that $1.8 bn slush fund is going to go to Jan 6 scumbags. Anyone with any brains knows Trump is going to keep as much for himself as possible. Maybe thereāll be token payments to scumbags and Trumpās shittykids, but heās keeping that $$ for himself.

Can reporters stop using the word deal? Itās an agreement, a settlement, a treaty, an understanding, an MOU etc. Using the word deal is accepting his simple-minded TV game-show framing and contributes to the bogus drama he is trying to create.

When will media stop focusing on Trumpās lack of cognitive ability and start focusing on how the people around him are using a mentally unstable old man for profit and are grifting off his illness? Trump is the distraction. For everything.

Point of order: all that matters is turning out the vote. Hungary just proved this. Political actions that matter: doing whatever we can to motivate people to vote. āWe will get distracted, so repeatedly bringing our focus back to this objective, is key.

Food for thought: In '24, 245M Americans were eligible to vote. just 73.6 % of those (174M) registered to vote. just 154M of them actually voted. US voter turnout ranked in bottom 1/3 of all democracies. This is how democracy dies. Too many people have taken too much for granted for too long

Joe Biden pardoned thousands of Black and brown people for simple possession, laws that unfairly target minorities. Trump pardoned a bunch of violent cop-murdering white supremacists, many kept doing crimes. The power to pardon doesnāt need abolishing. You need to stop electing Republicans.

Dumb posts like this certainly draw clicks and clickers probably feel righteous agreeing with it, but itās all based on a complete lack of understanding about funding, debt, and the sheer number of other states that meddle in US politics.
