There is a lot of low-quality survey data out there that's used primarily as a marketing/PR tool with little to no transparency on methods, questions asked, etc. and it is often accepted and written about with far too much credulity.

I am usually pro-labor but the LIRR strike is absurd they are already the best paid agency in the country and have tons of extremely generous benefits like 2x wages for working on 2 trains. and now they’re refusing a 4% raise? LIRR union is a perfect example of why US transit is so inefficient
