What a massive waste of public money

I've got one of those Adobe 'billed monthly but renews annually' subscriptions for Photoshop. This year I've made a note of the renewal date, checked Apple's Pixelmator Pro does what I need, and I'm ready to break free of paying Adobe £20 per month when Apple just wants £50 as a one-off. Freedom!

Always funny to see who Facebook puts in friend suggestions. This week I’ve had Marc Andreessen, Eric Schmidt, and both members of Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine.

My kids (aged 9 and 7) have already worked out on their own that they can load up my YouTube profile on the TV to watch their favourite YouTubers who aren’t in the Kids app, so banning YouTube is going to be a mess.

A big reason I built my replacement for the Google Health app is that Google replaced most of the dashboard on the Home Screen with an LLM coach that provides proactive health tips. Like all LLM-based features, it’s often wrong. This is a great example of how shoving AI into an app makes it worse
