Just had a quick look to see how Ronan Hale, who we were linked with in the summer, has been getting on this season. He has scored 12 goals in 23 matches for a team who are bottom of the table with only 2 wins all season. Worth a cheeky bid or a straight swap for Mai Traore?

Yesterday showed how crucial Palmer & Robertson are to our style of play. The vast majority of our attacks go through at least 1 of them. Yesterday, we had no midfield outlet to give the ball to, leaving Platt trying to find attacking players with long balls that he isn’t skilled enough to execute.

Having got bang on the 8 points I said I would be pleased with in December, I’m now going to say that from the 7 games in January, I would be very pleased with 21 points 😁

A really good performance that probably merited all 3 points last night. MK had a bit of a spell in the 2nd half but their only real threat was from long throws, which we dealt with well. Even in the 7 minutes of injury time, we were the team looking more likely to get the winner.

We deserve to be ahead. A really good performance so far.

When you’re 2nd to every ball and incredibly sloppy in possession, it will only end one way. Chesterfield were nothing special but didn’t need to be in order to beat us. Hugely disappointing. We need a big response on Monday otherwise we are likely to get a very similar result.
