www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footba... not a huge surprise but Aljofree has been recalled by United. Wasn't dreadful but clearly last choice in a position where basically everyone has been decent. And clearly we should prioritise the development of Macari and Ness as our own players.

Won 2 drawn 2 lost 1 is a decent return for December given who we've played and not having anything close to our first choice team available at any point but hoo boy we need some players back/fresh faces in sharpish

Notts haven't been particularly outstanding this season so far, more a team of grafters who'll do what they can to give themselves the best chance of getting a result. They've done it more often than not to their credit, but when it hasn't been their day...ooft.

My take away from the Panesar/Smith beef is that England's sledging in this Ashes series should consist entirely of quiz questions. We need to see Smith caught at slip having failed to name every country that borders the Central African Republic.

I'm know a lot of good Forest people but it's hard not to find this very funny after their club's hubris and self-entitlement over the summer

Basically every goal Notts have conceded this season has come from a cross into the box, and somehow Forest are proving we're the best team in the city at defending them
