Gotta go with Spies Like Us, a movie I have probably watched dozens of times, but maybe not since I was growing up?

I remember buying the Dreamcast and SC1 on launch day, and the vast majority of people lined up at the best buy were there for FF8. I am still happy with my choice!

Bears managed to flip the script from last year's losing ways, by starting off strong in the 1st quarter and then falling apart afterwards. Always managing to hit me with the disappointment mix-ups. We'll see how this first month goes, but it feels like it could be another long season.

A few loosely connected facts: I visited Antwerp today! Antwerp has a surprisingly large

store. Buying stuff in euros saves money vs. buying in USD at home. I now have to put Fulgrim and Mortarion into my luggage.

Week 1 of 4 in Belgium down! One cool place we took the students was Cantillon, a brewery that produces lambic-type beers using environmental yeasts. Lambics are a Belgium-only specialty (though other kinds of natural fermented beers exist all over the place) Lots of microbiology going on!

Rain in Brussels, and I can tell that I'm firmly rooted in California because rain in August feels kind of weird now. Even after growing up in the Midwest with summer thunderstorms.

You'd think someone like him, whose blood could probably make NYC rats sick if they got at it, would be desperately throwing money at healthcare out of purely selfish motives. But again, too stupid to even be selfish right.

The ICE camps are concentration camps. They should be called concentration camps. It is, of course, important to distinguish between concentration camps and death camps, but also, I am not sure we will know when or if we undergo the transition from concentration camps into death camps.
