Inverse's Gaming section is being shut down as the company "divests" from gaming content. I'm out of a job along with my wonderful co-writers. I've put my heart and soul into this job for four years. Gonna need to take time to process, but I'm now completely open for work - and boy do I need it.

Inverse has decided to "divest from gaming content" so I'm out of a job again! This is almost certainly the end of my career in games media, and probably the end of my writing career. I'd love for that not to be the case, so I'd appreciate any leads but I'm honestly not hopeful for obvious reasons♥️

Finished Phillip Pullman's The Rose Field last night and I'm so incredibly bummed that it was so disappointing. A meandering mishmash of ideas, most of which never see a real resolution, and an absolute skewering of the heartbreaking and poignant ending of His Dark Materials in The Amber Spyglass.

Forgot to share this one out because I was super busy on embargo day but I reviewed Octopath Traveler 0! It's more Octopath, which I love, but I had a harder time with some choices that ultimately stem from having a customizable silent protagonist.

It's the time of year where I've finished up any major reviews I'm working on and have the perfect chance to catch up on games I missed or haven't finished yet. So, naturally I'm hankering for yet another December play through of Breath of the Wild.

Dude watching this Mammoth/Ducks game is like watching an entirely different hockey team. The rollercoaster this team has sent me on probably isn’t healthy.
