I saw a theory that the rise of evangelicalism coincides with the lead paint era which demonstrably lowered IQs and now I can’t unsee the correlation.

When Trump’s approval rating is finally at 30, and he’s losing support from every other group, his approval among evangelicals remains 90%+. Over eleven long years I have come to just associate the worst features of Trump with evangelicals and especially Southern Baptists.
