Dogwhistle theology is the younger sibling to slaveholder theology, and neither one of them have any place in the coming Kingdom of Christ nor the current community of believers. Christic witness should carry no taint or political, cultural, or ethnic supremacy/war.

Promoting a cultural value system, even one informed by one’s theological views is NOT the same thing as preaching the Gospel. Why? Because doctrine tends to be solipsistic and subjective. The Gospel of Christ is an absolute with a narrow, specific focus, work, and result.
