Moved to Chicago four months ago and I feel like a different person. For the first time since lockdown I feel like I’m living again. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m proud of the work to confront old insecurities and be kinder to myself. Grateful to everyone who’s made this place feel like home. 💙🌞

Went two separate times this week to get blood drawn for a simple STD test and both times they couldn’t get any blood. I’m covered in holes wrapped in bandages and keep getting told to “come back tomorrow” why is this so hard.

Finished up the gym wondering if the pain on my left side is another hernia, internal irritation on the intestinal scarring from my colon surgery, or just psychosomatic. Working on getting a doctor appointment but the idea of a third stomach surgery makes me so sad! At least I look good tho.
