I'm not super-fussy about the wine I drink, but I would love to stop buying wine from vineyards owned by billionaires, conservatives and anti-climate no-hopers. Have you got a favourite?

I hate to see armed cops in this country patrolling outside the synagogue around the corner from the kids' school. What a surreal sight.

Look, did a bunch of us organise to have a pro Māori wards billboard on the same sign Hobson’s Pledge put their bullshit? Absolutely. Did we all put our names to it cause we're community leaders staunch in our position? Absolutely.

For a while there you only saw the young 'uns vaping, but now I'm seeing them smoking actual cigarettes again. Not durries either, the expensive ones. Where are the young people getting this kind of capital?

There's a new bar opening in our street, which I'm excited for, and I lodged an objection with the council about the hours in their licensing application. I was surprised that the council sent the submissions to the applicant without contact info redacted, and CCed us all in on the same thread (1/2)

I've just made a submission to the Royal Commission into Covid, Phase 2, fondly recalling the good deeds of the team of five million and expressing my support for the actions of the government that mean I'm alive to badger you to go do your submission today.

We need a world symposium on pockets. It will establish standards for the correct size and capacity of pockets, share manufacturing techniques to ensure they don't turn inside out when you're pulling something out, introduce treaties to make fake pockets illegal, and so forth.

I feel like a lot of the discourse about echo chambers and bubbles misses the point of why most people are on social media: to talk to people they like and follow people who post interesting things It's not a bloody debating club

The "elite unit" is tasked with covering the whenua, which is one of the tikanga from the 1975 land march, hīkoi organiser says.

I'm very much enjoying the renewed attention on and analysis of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, my mastermind topic. Every mention brings this kaupapa to more people. I hope many hīkoi attendees pop into the National Library during and after to say hello to Te Tiriti itself and give it a waiata or a shoutout.
