I agree with Andrew Chen's sentiment about the importance of the PM role. I don't think "bottleneck" is the right framing, though. When you can build almost anything, the person who figures out what should be built isn't a a bottleneck in the system, they're the most important checkpoint.

It’s ridiculously easy now to build for the sake of it. Just because a product can exist, though, it doesn’t mean it should. Even with AI tools, building to learn is massively inefficient. You need to start from a problem people actually want solved.
