I gotta say - my favorite part of sending out holiday cards is picking the perfect stamp from our collection of hundreds of cool forever stamps.

I love when my brother and sister-in-law visit, but it's getting hard to ignore the elephant in the room - SiL is absolutely anorexic and there is no way we can bring it up gracefully. 😪

The neighbor's kids are interested in weaving so we are making them scarves together. These kids have awesome ideas for colors! And pretty good patience for 6-year-olds!

A combination of airport, conference, and state fair has left me sick. Have I finally popped my covid cherry?

Watched Blue Brothers recently because I needed to see the bumbling loser Nazis get their comeuppance rather than be rewarded, like they have been in real life.

Ended up spending a few lovely hours at the Art Institute of Chicago and saw my favorite Monet.

I was wrong - my conference venue has a second gender neutral bathroom nearby...

Seeing women with cute shoes and raw open spots on the backs of their heels makes me glad I'm wearing my comfy shoes.

Anyone want to bet if I'll get my food before I have to be in my next session?

Ugh, conference venue sucks, venue food sucks and is slow and expensive. I'm struggling to find sessions that actually interest me. This is going to be a long week.
