Women servicemembers are essential to our nation’s defense—and risk everything to serve our country. Secretary Hegseth’s comments are disrespectful, demeaning and don’t make our nation any stronger. The only place Hegseth is leading us to is the past—and we’re not going back.

Labor & delivery units are starting to close as a result of the Republican budget’s cuts to Medicaid. Now only 36% of rural hospitals in Georgia provide maternity care, forcing mothers to travel long distances for basic services. Every mother deserves accessible, quality care. This is unacceptable.

Trump just suggested that pregnant women only take Tylenol if they can’t “tough it out.” The evidence? Nonexistent. Tylenol is widely considered the only safe medication for pain or fever relief for pregnant people. We’d like to see Trump “tough out” a pregnancy.

(1/2) NEWS: The 1st Circuit Court of Appeals ruled to allow the Republican budget to block more than 1.1 million patients from using their Medicaid insurance at Planned Parenthood health centers. This puts as many as 200 Planned Parenthood health centers at risk of closure.

(1/3) Joint Economic Committee Democrats released data on the status of health insurance under Trump’s leadership. The results are frightening. A 26-year-old earning $40,000 per year could see her out-of-pocket insurance premium nearly double from $1,850 to $3,440.

Rep. Mace’s resolution attacking Rep. Omar is pure political theater that Rep. Mace is using to raise campaign cash. It seeks to further divide us at a time when we should be coming together against political violence, which Rep. Omar has condemned.

Next on Trump’s chopping block: Asylum for women escaping domestic violence. New immigration policies are making it harder for domestic abuse survivors to find safety in the U.S.

Did you know the cost of child care has tripled since 1990? The U.S. Census Bureau’s records show that child care can cost up to $15,417 per child. That’s around 19.3% of the median family income—too much for hardworking families. We need affordable child care now.

DWC Chair @fernandez.house.gov introduced an amendment in the House Rules Committee that would allow Congress to vote to release all the Epstein files. All 4 Democrats voted in favor. All 8 Republicans voted against.

Trump’s Department of Ed cut funding for campus-based child care at colleges across the country, punishing schools for not complying with his political games. This will leave even more mothers without child care at a time when over 220,000 child care programs are already on the verge of closure.

#Trumpflation is: - Moms deciding between paying rent or having enough food for their children. - Young women working multiple jobs to make ends meet. - Taking on debt to buy basic necessities. We deserve better than this.
