I'm enjoying using @mu.social, an AT Protocol client / @bsky.app competitor built by @eurosky.social with a dedicated news tab and edit functionality! Oh, did I mention CATS? You can have a cat companion. Peak social, imo.

As an example of a competing actor, we built @mu.social, a microblogging app. We built it in a month (you can just use it with your account, Bsky, Eurosky, etc.) to demonstrate that this economic model is strong and can lead to a blossom of competing novel apps, all compatible — great for people.

It’s Monday and we’re brining you two little improvements to start the week. - a copy username button in a user’s profile menu, and - a companion cat to keep you company on mu 🐈🐈‍⬛😺

The biggest upside of @mu.social compared to the official @bsky.app is the news page, where you can pre-filter the topics. A good option to login there, when I like to see more news, but less politics.
