It really is ridiculous how I could just spend all day conscientiously dealing with email and literally never do anything else. Aspirationally I try to schedule email-checking (like once or twice per day) but in practice I find this hard to keep up.

Working on a collaboration and having back-and-forths with colleagues about how we use attention, executive attention, executive function, cognitive control, working memory, etc. I move we just call it all "psychic energy" and move on.

This paper had a pretty shocking headline result (40% of voxels!), so I dug into it, and I think it is wrong. Essentially: they compare two noisy measures and find that about 40% of voxels have different sign between the two. I think this is just noise!
