Trying something kind of different. There was a huge crowd at WTC at 3:20 but @PATHTrain was actually running 10 min service with a JSQ shuttle today. Give them credit, but I still don't understand why this wasn't their first instinct and took months to get to.

And this is with what feels like construction every weekend with trains every 30 mins. Imagine how good HBLR can be with decent headways at all hours + expansion.

The contract for the current HBLR operator ends on 9/15. Now, for the second day in a row, they're not running afternoon service because their workers have mysteriously refused to come into work.

I was in Bayonne and came across this incredibly dangerous situation on the Kennedy Blvd ramp to 440. There’s a blind spot for the drivers and pedestrians and they fly around the corner. Absolutely insane anyone would think this is okay, especially a traffic engineer.

A lot has happened to PATH in the past 25 years -- 9/11, major construction work, COVID, etc. But consistent across all of these events have been ensuing reductions in off-pk service levels: since 2005, the number of PATH trips crossing the Hudson on Saturdays has fallen by *50%*
