The intro to Game & Wario shows a world map on Wario's wall. While roughly corresponding to the map of our world, it shows some differences in the shapes of the landmasses. Most concerningly, it appears that in Wario's world, Europe does not exist.

New submap for my upcoming hack: The Found Levels featuring Aeron. @alexsmw.bsky.social made the entire submap, while I'm the one responsible for the sketches, level names and Bomberman icons.

Believe it or not, I do stuff that's NOT music! For those who don't know, on SMWC's last Summer C3 event, I showed off a tiny demo of my new hack, "More Super Mario World". Since then, there has been some changes to the demo levels, and this is one of them! Now it has some new music and effects.

Brazil does thing very similar with PIX, its a direct money transfer that uses emails/cellphones/CPF as an identifier and can generate QR codes for payment! and its free of charge! and developed by the government!

Japan is in no way perfect, it has many flaws, but this sort of thing is fucking phenomenal and I so desperately wish we had an approximate of it becuase fuck man it sucks that so much of our lives get dictated by corporate morality
