Storytelling is about engaging, not informing. The storyteller must create moments, characters, scenes that the audience wants to experience. Not just tell the audience what’s happening, a play-by-play.

I Google myself once or twice a week (in the privacy of my own home, of course), and I’ve noticed the quality of searches diminishing rapidly over the last few years. So, no surprise to hear Google is abandoning the search engine in pursuit of a technology nobody wants that doesn’t work.

I know this sort of thing annoys some people because we should care about the art and not money but believe me it is MUCH easier to make art when it's something you can actually make a solid living at.
