I'm actually quite impressed with Starfleet Academy. One of the major bits of discourse has been about its representation of Klingons. A lot of those criticisms have this fundamental lack of understanding of Klingon culture. They saw Strong Honorable Warrior race stereotype and stopped there. 1/x

ok I figured it out. Went back and watched the second episode again. The War College WAS what Starfleet Academy was during the Burn. SFA being back now as it "was" is having the WC run concurrently. Gradutes from both would get positions in the fleet.

Can someone explain to me how Starfleet Academy and the War College work? I get they share a campus since the WC took it over during The Burn, but how does it work now? What do WC graduates do when they are done? Is earth keeping its local defense force?
