Learning more about how Star Trek was made and I think it's really cool that they let the actors shadow directors if they wanted to learn. They set so many of them up with solid careers. Currently enjoying Foundation and Resident Alien, both of which are produced or directed by Star Trek actors

I think people miss that what made DS9 so good was that it was a singular effort coming at the junior era of a greater body of work, it wasn't just DS9 right out of the gates it got to exist in contrast with all of TOS, TNG, and the movies

SNW show runners have now stated that they're not bringing on Chekov because it "doesn't make sense" They made Scotty younger than Kirk, but they won't make Chekov older? I seriously cannot stand how these guys think

if I had a nickel for every Voyager third season B'Elanna mind rape episode, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice

I'm most of the way through the third season in my Voyager rewatch and it might just be the low point of the series. They're coasting a bit after the surprisingly good first and second seasons, and there are way too many mind rape and/or Sexy B'Elanna episodes for my tastes.
