I've decided that I'm just going to use #Zig for any serious projects. I've tried so, so many languages at this point and nothing else has even come close. Zig is honestly just perfect for the way my brain works.

I'm loving Epiphany (GNOME Web) 49! It's much faster now, and many of the bugs are fixed. The UX as a whole is much nicer now, too.

We can't just keep switching social media platforms to work around the issues that come with moderators who abuse their power and policies that hurt minorities. Every time we switch platforms, we lose content, our followers & platform, and our communities become more divided.

I owned "tangled.org" since 1998, and had been looking for the right thing to do with it ever since. Glad to have found it a good home!

I have been using #Zed and #Helix as my IDE/editors recently, and they work fairly well. However, I tried JetBrains Fleet again today, and I really do miss some of the features it has. I'm probably going to start using a hybrid of Fleet and Zed, but I'll definitely end up using Fleet more.

There are many relays. We run atproto.africa which is a full network relay built from scratch with 3 days of data replay. We also host a mod relay at that address that replays all moderation labels network wide that ever have been made. You can see all relays here: compare.hose.cam

I never thought I would, but I actually gave in to Chromium... (1/3) It started with my phone; Firefox for Android is absolutely unusable at this point, it's sooo slooow. Cromite is insanely good on Android, and after using it for a while, I couldn't go back.

I honestly don't know what I would do without @tailscale.com and #uCore Sysadmin is so much easier & less frustrating for me now. I feel like I can actualy focus on running services instead of worrying about networking + admin + security. Everything just... works, and it's very refreshing.

It's always surprising to see how many tracks I've listened to in a year. This year, I have over 15K (tracked) listens so far. I know it logically makes sense, but it's just such a huge number that it seems insane.

Colors look so bad in Firefox compared to Epiphany, I don't know how I used to use this. Thin lines also render inconsistently, which is really odd. HDR isn't working either, even though I'm pretty sure it's supported.

Does anyone know how to simply hue shift an image using the OKLab/OKLch color space instead of srgb HSL without writing a custom shader? At this point, idk if a GUI tool even exists that can do this, which is surprising. This really isn't something that I want to write, but I might have to.

Why does VR feel more real than reality?

Therians and otherkin should be very worried about these new rules and limitations. We already are labeled as too taboo, too weird, even to furries. I honestly expect the first hurt by these rules will be non-human artists, as our self-expression is often called immoral or "mentally ill" already
