Really have to wonder about these vaguely anti-ev stories on the RTE website. In this case a little more research wd reveal that most ev owners in Irl charge for as little as 0.7c per kwh hr between eg 2 and 5.00 am. That fact blows quite a hole in the thrust of the article. Very odd.
