yeah I feel this way. I also think that "keeping your brain in shape" is going to become a thing that people talk about in the same way they talk about "keeping your body in shape". In the sense that it's now something we have to worry about because our environment doesn't force us to do it.

I had several requests for feedback today. I object how corporate employers try and get everyone to report back on their staff, I think its an unacceptable imposition on customers and over surveillance of staff, however I feel concern that not filling these in could impact negatively on the staff.

I went to this, and although it was moving I started to wonder what impact it had on actual starving people Then I remembered my mother telling me that as a Jew growing up in Nazi Germany hearing that there was international concern about her situation was important to her and made a difference.

I'm so glad someone else is saying this. I have been arguing for a while that just as we merged the seperate diagnoses of Asperger's and autism we need to merge ADHD and autism. But as with Asperger's people don't like a less stigmating diagnosis being subsumed into a more stigmatising one.
