An addendum to my last post. Being in a car with my wife and mother in law, It's always going to be gothic/symphonic metal. That's what they like. My mum in law is 70, and she rocks really hard. So it's likely going to be some Theatre Of Tragedy, or Tristania, or something along those lines.

Depends on the decade. In the 70's. We only had an AM radio in the car, so it was the latest hits. In the 80's, it was the really bad progressive/album rock shit that littered Canadian FM radio. My dad was the only person I knew growing up who listed to FM. I hated it.
