#wolaotd Pendants, Annex, and For'ard have a room reserved for him permanently. Starter cities + Ishgard + Kugane work like regular inns availability-wise, but when they do have a room available he gets to stay for free as goodwill towards the WoL. Though he'll often offer to pay a token sum still.

pro tip: if you have a hair or other mesh that gets garbled when you have a depth of field and ambient occlusion shader enabled, you can go to addons > generic depth in reshade and swap between the blue entries in the list so it renders nice and clean
