One of my favorite things about DMing is coming up with bespoke monster abilities. Mainly so I get to say things like "You have angered the Marmot. It uses an attack called 'the Wheel of Pain!'" Highly recommend this BTW. Players are very capable these days. They can tank 40 points of damage.

Yesterday was rough. The Eaton fire raged through Alta Dena just north of us, and we evacuated our home to escape the severe drop in air quality. So far, our home is in one piece but much of the city is devastated and the fire is still 0% contained. Stay safe, Los Angeles.
