I really liked this episode. Avoiding "garbage time" is important to me as a designer. I love cards that dont feel unfair, but also ensure that there is tension in games until they end.

Shoutout to the talented @goblingathering.bsky.social for designing these Player Envelopes for Bodleian Cube. I maintain an envelope for each card that makes tokens, but will be replacing all clues, foods, maps, and treasures with these. They also will mark draft seats, and contain the cogworks.

A GW rampy deck with Brightglass Gearhulk, blink, and tokens packages took down today's Bodleian Cube draft. There were so many interesting lines this deck could take, including what my group has dubbed cat dog combo (phelia + chariot). Gearhulk played so well, especially with retrofitter.

A drafter combined these 2 cards with graveyard exile in Bodleian Cube tonight. Cool to see Skimmer draw cards and then become big via Proft's. Also got to see an Enduring Vitality trigger Kishla on death. Really happy with it as a new card from last night's update. cubecobra.com/cube/list/hgs
