I had this Japanese poem (#77 from the Hundred Poets) in my mind when I wrote the message. The image of swift waters parting and joining again was written about lovers, but I feel it equally applies to old friends, and even old hobbies. It’s alright to have time apart and meet again down-stream. 💙

Pretty magical to be a part of this project. Drew found me on Sunday at my most exhausted, but I was honoured to be able to say the words that have been building in my heart.

i have a million thoughts about shoebox but the one that keeps sticking with me is what an honor and a pleasure it has been to be working with every single person on the team. admin, judges, coverage, artists, vendors, even venue staff and the local shops who printed our t-shirts and playmats etc
