Had a great time with friends playing two cubes, and having Ice Cream, Bruschetta, and Pesto tonight. I played a very tiny cube on its inaugural run and had a great time.

Had cake and two cubes tonight to celebrate one of our drafters birthdays and say goodbye to another as they go home for the end of the semester. A delightful time out here in Santa Rosa with lovely people who are always happy to have others come and join us!

Visiting Chicago and I have a few impressions: It's LOUD. Like dang I think everywhere I've been had been louder than DC, Seattle, LA or SF. The fact that the "Joe" card is not only an aggro creature, but one that got an alchemy rebalance is perfectly on brand for me

I played my Cube tonight with nine people. One was brand new to it, 2 of them have been playing it with me since the very first draft, 200+ drafts ago. Had an amazing time going 1-2. Made me happier than anything else has for a month. The cube is perfect, no notes, per my drafters unanimous feedback

To follow up on my post about Phrog getting banned in legacy, I love playing dumb decks propped up by blood moon. We once had a guy show up for paper legacy with just a normal very casual 60 card kitchen table deck. I played a turn one blood moon and he asked what a non-basic land was.

Phrog is dead, now I just need wizards to ban basic swamp and basic island and my legacy blood moon decks will have 100% win rate as God intended

Had a great time 3-0ing FNM tonight with mostly just simple Bears + giant growths. Foundations is the best magic set of the last year, and probably the next.

@magic.wizards.com used a day we trans folks remember our dead to advertise their product, a day where even more attacks on us were launched in Congress, without even having the spine to name that day in their post. Fuck this mealy mouthed bs "support" from corps doing nothing to mitigate our harm.

Okay, cube idea - each player starts with two copies of temple of the false god in play. The curve goes 1-> 2->7 like Tron, but you can play multiple colors and stuff. Cube contains a much higher curve of usually "lower power" cards that get really good with the extra mana

After a joke on the cubetalk discord about user Snowtorch being the guest on any given Lucky Paper radio episode went on and on, several of us stole his identity back, changing our names to his for a while. Now, having crisscrossed the US and Europe, these cards are signed by all us Snowtorches.
