Had a great time with friends playing two cubes, and having Ice Cream, Bruschetta, and Pesto tonight. I played a very tiny cube on its inaugural run and had a great time.

Visiting Chicago and I have a few impressions: It's LOUD. Like dang I think everywhere I've been had been louder than DC, Seattle, LA or SF. I played my Cube tonight with nine people. One was brand new to it, 2 of them have been playing it with me since the very first draft, 200+ drafts ago. Had an amazing time going 1-2. Made me happier than anything else has for a month. The cube is perfect, no notes, per my drafters unanimous feedback

To follow up on my post about Phrog getting banned in legacy, I love playing dumb decks propped up by blood moon. We once had a guy show up for paper legacy with just a normal very casual 60 card kitchen table deck. I played a turn one blood moon and he asked what a non-basic land was.

Phrog is dead, now I just need wizards to ban basic swamp and basic island and my legacy blood moon decks will have 100% win rate as God intended

Okay, cube idea - each player starts with two copies of temple of the false god in play. The curve goes 1-> 2->7 like Tron, but you can play multiple colors and stuff. Cube contains a much higher curve of usually "lower power" cards that get really good with the extra mana
