I so wish I could have stayed for this whole event (I accidentally double booked myself and had to sneak away from a Hannukah party I was technically hosting to read) but I had so much fun in any case! NAWP!!!

The best thing about reading poetry and attending poetry readings — even virtually — is that I come out in awe of others’ talent and determined to bring that same beauty out in my own work. What a tremendous evening (complimentary).

The beauty of living in the Midwest is that you can attend an incredible poetry reading, get two dozen cranberry mincemeat tarts, and one cherry jam turnover with the leftover dough, all done by 8pm. The poetry was so good!
