Marking exams, I have multiple spreadsheets with formulas based on rubric and extensive feedback written using the grade descriptors. Yet, my initial thoughts (“low 2:1”) end up reflected precisely in that carefully calculated score. Thus, I conclude that I would grade accurately based on “vibes”.
