For writers this is mostly legitimizing theft that has already taken place (most of my stuff is already training data, taken from shadow libraries) but in any case it’s another blow to artists of all kinds, dealt by a British political class that seems to have always hated art

Another outstanding month of books. My recommendation for 2025 is "59 Minutes" by @holly.bsky.social; a fast-paced, tight-knit thriller that really made me think. If you're a fan of thrillers, this is an absolute must read!
