I'm writing in American for this next book and it's torture. Every time I type "color" or "realize" I feel a little dirty.

If I had a starter pack then you’d be in it. I don’t have one because I’ve got a book to write, and because I don’t know how to make a starter pack. And also because I can’t be arsed. But you’d be in it for sure.

I'm at Waterstones Braehead on Friday night from 6-8 along with a stellar line-up of authors all happy to chat and sign books. There's a wide range of genres and writers and it's a chance to get some Christmas presents in the bag! Ho ho ho...
