Oh dear … on BBC Radio 4 Today Hugh Pym says that Leng Review didn’t find evidence that Physician Assistants (as they should henceforth be known) are unsafe. He seems to have missed that the bit saying there is no evidence they are safe (and enough evidence to question whether they are)

And it gets worse - spokesperson for PAs says there should be a “presumption of innocence”, ie an assumption they are safe. So we should just assume any innovation in healthcare delivery is safe? Really?
