more than a dozen vehicles are staged at the ice facility in broadview, illinois, this morning ahead of an expected surge arrests by fed immigration agents. ice plans to run facility 24/7 for the next ~45 days to “process” arrested people before sending them to other detention centers out of state.

The parking lot at the Broadview ICE facility is packed this morning—most vehicles we've seen here so far. Two masked men exit the door inside, appear to be checking out the fleet of vehicles. Small gaggle of press outside. No reports yet of any detainees arriving or leaving.

Outside the ICE facility in Broadview, IL this morning— Masked agents in unmarked cars are arriving at work. DHS will be using the de facto detention center as their main "processing" site for the impending Chicago ICE surge. Protesters are gathering, with a large number of press here as well.
