Back to last night, and an unremarkable catch apart from this perky little NFG Ypsolopha sylvella! The seventh species of Ypsolopha I’ve recorded in my garden. Love ‘em! #TeamMoth

It doesn’t look like much, but I’ve had this confirmed as Cadra figulilella (Raisin Moth)! A rare adventive which looks to be new for VC39. It was part of a catch on the 18/08/25, which also included Ni Moth, Oblique Carpet, Angle-barred Pug, Grey Chi, Small Rufous and 4 Beet Moth!!! #TeamMoth

I've initiated a review of Dark Marbled Carpet (Dysstroma citrata) in VC39 Staffordshire. ~50% of the records are unsafe, being outside of the flight period of July and August (+/- either side) in the south of Britain. Probably down to misIdent of Common Marbled Carpet (D. truncata) #MothsMatter

Returned home to a monster trap from last night! NFGs of Ni Moth, Oblique Carpet and Scrobipalpa ocellatella (x4!). NFYs of Grey Chi, Angle-barred Pug, Small Rufous and Common Wainscot. Along with 200+ LYUs, 27 Vine’s, Small Ranunculus, Ruby Tiger, Ypsolopha sequella, etc ! Wow. #TeamMoth
