Wow, that was truly amazing, the Strawberry Full Moon rising over Ely Cathedral this evening. Seen from Little Downham outside of Ely, Cambridgeshire 😍🌝 I didn’t think it was going to shine through the clouds, but it certainly did 🙏🏻🥰

Trees absorb carbon dioxide—a primary driver of climate change—and convert it into oxygen, which is essential for life on Earth. A single mature tree can produce enough oxygen to sustain two to four people daily. Just imagine the impact of a tree-lined avenue, a park, or an urban forest.

Best of all, trees accomplish all this in silence. In return, they ask only for a little space for their roots and time to grow. A tree planted today is more than just a symbolic gesture; it is a long-term investment in our health, our well-being, and our future.

A mouthwatering Turkish Adana Kebab freshly prepared for a dürüm (wrap) - from Resit Usta Kebap in Adana, Turkey. The kebab is often accompanied by fresh salad, grilled peppers and yogurt. The ground meat is traditionally seasoned with hot red peppers and grilled over charcoal.

Taught my son how to cook when he was very young. Was using a Cuisinart by the time he was 4. Now that he’s 16, he’s making amazing stuff like this Beef Wellington last night.

In a world where air pollution is a major issue—especially in large cities—trees act as a genuine natural purification system, reducing the risk of respiratory ailments, asthma attacks, and even serious illnesses.

This ancient oak, several centuries old, almost certainly grew up with other trees for kin, wolves passing beneath their boughs. Now it's alone, surrounded only by ecosystem-killing sheep. What would have been thought a blissful pastoral scene is, in reality, a painfully sad picture of loss.
