Not only is disability tax very real - the system is designed to keep us in poverty. Everything costs more, we have a higher number of emergency expenses, and we’re prohibited from earning extra money (and in some cases we can’t even inherit or fundraise). It’s a terrifying & precarious situation.

When I first joined the site last year, my feed was full of furries and trans people, despite the fact I am not actually part of those communities. And I felt such relief! A place they feel safe to express themselves means the moderation tools are effective!
