Soen was absolutely fabulous last night at The Forge in Joliet. This was the first stop of their NA tour and the almost didn’t make it - in fact their set started an our late and we watched while the set up! I don’t know that it would have cracked my top 10, but finally got to the new Moron Police album, and I did find it very good indeed.

Late getting to this one, but this just smashed my year end list to bits. 🎶 It's like if someone took Richard Andersson's brain and put it within the construct of modern prog...which, if you know my inclinations, might as well be crack.

My #SWeptember really kicked into full gear last night with an absolutely incredible show at the beautiful Wiltern theater in LA. Steven‘s tremendous band was phenomenal and the show was mind blowing. Hearing The Overview played live even further elevated it in my estimation. Magical evening!

Went to see the “other” Asia last night - “Asia featuring John Payne” - largely because the incredible Ryo Okumoto from Spock’s Beard is the keyboard player in JP’s band now. Terrific show, Ryo was totally awesome and such a good dude. And this band is fab, if you like Asia, not to missed!
