Drew a Hound of Tindalos from a short story by Frank Belknap Long, released in a short story collection of his work in 1946. The hounds are creatures that exist outside of time and space. They can emerge in the form of smoke from any angle of a certain sharpness, like the corner of a room.

I'm enjoying doing the Gutter Planet illustrations. I'm trying to allow myself to work for longer on them, and not do "survival" speed work. Sometimes is actually great to delete stuff and start again. It untangles your brain.

If it's of any use to you, there's some Climate Nightmares DNA in Gutter Planet. It's not as bleak as the first, but it's still pretty grim, with tons of dead things, radiation and transhumanism.

Some years ago, there was this fantastic artist on Twitter who did a series of drawtober daily ink drawings called climate nightmares. They were so good/powerful I think about them A LOT. I can't find them anywhere now, no matter how much I search. Does anyone else remember/know if they're archived?

I think I was a lonely child (still am) and drawing was just entertaining and didn't need another person. I think I got into writing, comics and making up fictions because it carries me around way more efficiently than mental health professionals have been able to help me.
