I got a lot of commisions in here (more than in twitter) bc I am followed by writers and editors. but in terms of selling comics or prints? 0, zero, nada, jack shit. so the idea that artist will have to do their own shit and sell it is looking weak.

It really isn't that hard to boycott Disney if you like cool things instead of dogshit

its very interesting to me that the movies and shows all exist as a sort of aesthetic ad for Theme parks and cruises. kind of like how sodas are the money makers in fast food places.

"Selling Out Is Bad" is a valuable concept and despite all the baggage and bullshit and elitism it could contain it's actually really good to reinforce the ideal that having integrity when it matters, especially when it hurts, is what good/cool people do. Should be adapted instead of jettisoned.
