I randomly met @jordanritterconn.bsky.social before I got my first job on the sideline of an extremely small time Bay Area HS football game. I was experiencing one of the worst hangovers of my life because of the Braves (stupid Rick Ankiel) and it remains memorable and surreal in its own way.

Hopefully this Knicks Eastern Conference run stands on it's own to a degree, even if the Finals go the way most might project. In a titles-obsessed space, good to appreciate some non-title accomplishments for what they are.

Just a bit funny the two ADs quoted are at the schools that lost the 12-team playoff era renditions of the game. Like, it'll probably go away, but those two being quoted is just great.

It was kind of perfect, a card that it felt like accidentally catered to people who are pretty into maximizing credit card value (and minimizing interest paid), but with points that weren't so good that they funnel all their spending through them.

Also, people like a lot of the effects of roster churn. Just a lot of new, potentially good players. There's a reason sports writers ask questions about the freshmen before every season and share the glowing comments.

Again, having the producers speak after best picture is like owners accepting sports championship trophies. We can just not, and it's all better. (Also, seeing Maya Rudolph hanging onto an Oscar rocks)
