I love Laika, but I sometimes wonder if they're almost *too* good at stop motion animation now and it hurts them. This is so smooth that if you don't know this is stop motion, you could easily write it off as stylized CG. Sometimes it's the imperfections that make you notice art.

It's crazy to me that in 10 days there's a new Star Wars movie coming out and 1) I forgot it was coming out and 2) I'm not making plans to see it in the theater.

Authors, I know it's a tough market and it's hard to get noticed, but when you use an AI-generated trailer/ad for your book, it just makes me not want to read your book.

I'm going with Alien by the novelization king, Alan Dean Foster. It's obvious that Foster didn't know what the alien looked like - either they hadn't finalized the design for the film or maybe he was only given the script to go off of - so he writes around that fact, but still delivers a great read.

Whenever my chronic shoulder pain flares up, I can never tell whether I should apply heat or cold or, worse, alternate between the two. And for how long??? That’s why I’m cutting out the guesswork and switching to RoomTemp patches. And you should, too!

The storms passed with little impact - just thunder and maybe an inch of rain. Now I can't wait for all the Facebook comment guys who peaked in high school to complain that weather men/women don't know what they're talking about. 🙄
