My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

The whole obsession Trnmp has over the peace prize is that Obama won it in 2009. That's it. He refuses to be denied a prize that the black president won.

This strikes me as pretty bad

Trump is threatening to withhold back pay for federal workers furloughed during the shutdown — which goes against a law he signed in 2019, by the way. This should come as no surprise: Trump and his businesses have been accused of stiffing hundreds of their own workers out of pay over the years.
