Listen. I'm a huge star wars fan. Big part of my personality and my family. My wife got me Star Wars Outlaws. It was....fine. I played the patched/fixed version six months after it came out. It was pretty but it felt big and...empty. Opening chests after restarting a mission spawn different rewards.

Breath of the Wild is so much better because I basically *haven't* touched it in 8 years. I remember the broadest strokes like where to buy cold weather gear, but I am just wandering around the world and found a Great Fairy on accident and got so jazzed.

I wish that Expedition 33 had a mode where the parry would be a value of Easy Mode but all the damage values would be that of normal. I'm just bad at parrying in most games!

Finished TLoU2 on PS5 last night. That was quite a journey, and while it did take a long time you can really feel the attention to detail in a ND game when you specific don't make an "open world" title. Still surprised that I've had zero of it spoiled over the last 5 years.

I got the apple watch S9 because I was genuinely interested in the gesture/finger tap thing, which eventually migrated to the Vision Pro. But it never it worked great, a half-baked idea. With the S10 (and it's following update though) it's worked 95% of the time and I use it just as I hoped I would!

I hope that when I get my braces off in a few months it’ll be like when Sandra Bullock takes her glasses off and my wife suddenly remembers why she fell for me again
