I’m heartbroken by the news of a horrific mass shooting at Brown University and sending love and prayers for the victims, their families, and the entire Providence community. We must act now to end this painful epidemic of gun violence. Our children should be safe at school.

My kids asked if any meme has ever been as big as 67. I suggested that pre-internet our memes were ads, because they were the only videos everyone saw over and over again. "Wassup" and "where's the beef?" and "tastes great less filling" were so huge they became cultural catchphrases. Any others?
