on my third play through i realized i really do feel bad for alba. how she foils nicole is very instructive wrt how stunted + passive she is, culminating in a very tragic ending. i do believe alba can figure it out, but she is on jinny's doorstep, young but well into her life, needing to start over.

woke up and got some stuff done a little on the early side and feeling amazing... thinking of my friend who said you should start everyday with something meaningful and/or enjoyable, before starting things you're obligated to do (chores, work, etc). and yeah! it's very real!

unfortunate news: quality of life can be improved by being "An Early Riser". like i wake up and do a bunch of shit before dayjob and am not in a rush for my first hour of the day. it's like how yoga is feels good or cleaning your room makes you less anxious. like yeah they were right about all that.

you know the kid lit publishing controversy that actually exists and I'd like you all to get on? The lack of marketing & publicity support for books by marginalized authors that don't sell and then are used as proof to not acquire more books from those authors.
