alex is always doing rly cool experimental stuff with comics, with the interplay of text+image, with format+framing, & it's all on full display here in the best ways. genuinely some beautifully haunting, even painful, illustrative work, too, on top of the gorgeous illu. manuscript style!! read it!!!
